Erin and Beau are two people who truly know who they are in life and in love. It was a pleasure to photograph their wedding, partly because they are family, but more importantly because they accomplished what we always try to tell our couples. We tell every bride and groom “Make your wedding day your own, make it tell a story of who you are as a couple.” Their story was so evident, full of green, natural simplicity, vintage lace, artistic touches, lots of care for their guests and of course a ton of laughter.
Beau grew up less than 10 miles from where their wedding was held, the gorgeous Ecker’s Apple Farm, full or fruit and new life. The ceremony site was simply beautiful! Set between long rows of apple tress with a spectacular view of rolling hills that made time seem to stop. Each and every wedding detail weaved seamlessly together. Instead of a unity candle they planted a tree with dirt from each of their homes, their place card holders and wedding gifts were beautiful petite succulents, the apple tree farm gave riding tours of the farm on antique benches and trailers they made themselves. Looking back on the day, it was kind of a dream, a wedding where family and friends blended together to create an atmosphere of joy and love.
Congratulations to Erin and Beau!
