Kunal and Courtney’s traditional Indian wedding at the Dayton Arcade was a dream to photograph. The Dayton Arcade renovation is absolutely amazing. This historic building has been brought back to life and we can’t wait for more opportunities to shoot in this space! And the stunning vintage white tile and early 20th Century architecture were the perfect backdrop to the vibrant colors of this multicultural, Indian wedding.
As most of you know, the Carrs love to travel! Travel offers us the opportunity to experience new cultures and ideas. So getting a taste of that in our own backyard was so much fun. The chance to explore other traditions, foods, lifestyles, and experience the family centric nature of how another culture gets married was refreshing and awe inspiring.
Kunal and Courtney’s wedding was perfectly planned. They paid attention to every detail and were passionate about telling a great story throughout. They married their two cultures seamlessly (no easy task) into a stunning wedding.
We had the pleasure of photographing the Mehndi, the Henna ceremony, the Puja ceremony and the main event. The whole weekend felt like it was one big extended celebration of family, both new and old!
